Crossbost is a village in the district of North Lochs. It is signposted from the A859 road from Stornoway to Harris. Turn left at Liurbost, and drive the length of that village. A mile after (finally) leaving Liurbost, the road veers left into Crossbost proper. A sideroad is signposted for the War Memorial, behind which stands the church and extensive carparking.
Crossbost cemetery consists of three graveyards. The one containing wargraves lies closest to the shore.
